one Zinnia

Despite the fact that the flower is considered to be more of a garden flower, it is also possible to grow zinnia at home.

The plant is very fond of space, warmth and well-lit places. At home for zinnia, you need to pick up a spacious pot or container and put it on a sunny windowsill, preferably on the south side. In the garden, the flower will grow well in a lighted clearing.

You need to water zinnia once a week in the summer, in winter (at home) it is possible and less often. The temperature in the apartment should be consistently high: both in winter and in summer it will be necessary to maintain it at +25 degrees. In the garden, of course, such a luxury cannot be afforded: for this reason, during the cold season, the flower does not grow there.

2 Sage

There are many varieties of sage, but only two are suitable for home cultivation: nutmeg and medicinal, the rest are grown in the garden. For the plant to feel good, it must be placed in a well-lit area, but not in direct sunlight. In an apartment, this can be the eastern and western window sills, and on the site — a shaded place where the sun hits.

Sage has a voluminous root system, so at home it needs a capacious pot, from 10 liters. It is grown at a standard room temperature of + 20-25 degrees, and on the site it grows only in the summer. You need to water the plant regularly as the soil dries up — this applies to both the conditions of the apartment and the cottage.

3 Petunia

Petunia can often be found in gardens, this is a bright plant that will decorate any flower bed. But since the heat-loving petunia does not tolerate frost, it is transplanted into a pot for the winter and taken home.

In the conditions of a petunia apartment, good air humidity is needed, otherwise the plant may get sick. It is also important to provide intense illumination: if there is not enough natural light, the flower is illuminated with a lamp. For this reason, petunia is planted in open ground in sunny places.

Petunia does not like excess moisture, as well as excessive dryness. For home growing in a pot, it is imperative to make a drainage layer and a hole for water to drain, and water regularly as the soil dries out (this applies to growing at home and on the site).

four Chrysanthemum

Chrysanthemum can be grown in an ordinary apartment, although this flower is usually associated with flower beds and suburban areas.

In the garden, the chrysanthemum blooms in autumn, and at home it needs to be cool. The flower does not like standard room temperature, so it is best to keep it on an unheated balcony at + 15-17 degrees.

Chrysanthemum feels good in diffused light, direct sunlight, as well as shade, does not like. In the garden, you need to choose a shaded area with a small amount of sunlight, and at home, east or west window sills are ideal.

Watering is necessary regular and plentiful, but it is important to monitor the friability of the soil so that the roots breathe. If the air in the room is too dry, the flower can be showered or irrigated with a spray bottle.

5 dahlias

The optimum temperature for the plant is + 15-25 degrees, so dahlias bloom in the garden closer to autumn. For landing in the country, as a rule, massive bushes are chosen and they try to pick up the place from where they will not need to be transplanted — dahlias do not like this.

Only certain varieties of dahlias are recommended for growing at home — those with a small root system. For example, dwarfs: «Little Tiger» and «Tompix». However, they still grow quite tall and need a large pot and support.

Both at home and on the site, the soil is watered before the flower is planted, and after that the soil is only slightly irrigated. Full watering begins in a few days.

6 begonias

Begonias grow well both at home and in the garden. To do this, they need to provide comfortable conditions: in the apartment, put the pot on the western or eastern windowsill, where there is no direct sun, and on the site — find a shaded clearing.

The flower does not accept drafts, so it is important to protect it from ventilated places. Begonias need to be watered regularly, maintain air humidity, but spraying the plant is contraindicated.
